In his earlier careers before acting he was a nursery school teacher and an electrical engineer. He was discovered by a comedian Dennis Miller. So some of his work in TV was. Starring in cone heads in 1993, co- staring in air head in 1994, He stared in Billy Madison etc.  In my opinion I think that Adam Sandler has done an out standing job in his acting career.
